A Path Appears

Rea Dol is the Founder, Director, and truly the heart and driving force behind SOPUDEP.  Because of her leadership, tireless efforts, and powerful vision, Rea has earned respect in Haiti as well as from foreign journalists, such as New York Times journalist, Nicholas Kristof.  She is the focus in one of his columns called "Can Foreign Aid Help This Girl?" and is prominently featured in his book and film "A Path Appears" that premiered on PBS in February, 2015.
